serghei sure likes to pretend Barca hasn't benefitted to the same extent or say without evidence they've been hurt more than Madrid.

Banter

OK. So show me goals which were seen from row Z that Madrid scored and where not given.

In those seasons which were neck and neck duels decided by 0-2 points.

You can't, because there aren't any.

This kind of refereeing is a shame for La Liga as a organization. It's also a shame for football in general. Unfortunately VAR has brought nothing good to the sport as referees still have a final say. They can interpret the same situation in 2 totally opposite ways. The level of inconsistency is terrible and consequently one team has unbelievable advantage over others.

Barca team is horrible but if I was Madridista I would be truly embarrassed with this title. Similar shit happened in the World Cup and 2 years later no one remembers as only titles remain in everyones memory. I was happy when VAR was introduced but unfortunately it has brought nothing good to the game of football.

Show me? You're the one putting claims of preferential treatment (which is nothing but speculation) or clubs benefitting unevenly. So prove it. Put your money where your mouth is. Honest, large scale study of where each club was given/denied referee decisions and preferential choice of review in accordance with protocol.

But we already know "you're not obsessed about being right" :)lol:). Until you do your legwork, all this really is worth is a nice round zero/zilch/nada.

I was happy when VAR was introduced but unfortunately it has brought nothing good to the game of football.

Completely opposite.

Leave it to Madrid to make what should have been an easy La Liga win yet another scandal. These guys can't win anything in Spain in the Messi era without controversy.

This is the greatest achievement of Messi in his career. Guy would be standing on 12 La Ligas with fair refereeing.

Agree with this, it's not just La Liga either, majority of the fans here in England are fed up with VAR and want it either gone or dramatically refined.

What is it the fans want refined?

You're unnaturally obsessed with me mate. I already told you I'm not wasting my time for a know-it-all smart-ass.

Good to know. Wouldn't want you to waste your time on something like finding proof to back up your own words.

You forgot this beauty from 16/17 season:

At 0:40..

When Bruno Soriano became Villarreal’s 2nd goalkeeper  ref stood in perfect position to see. No pen. We drew 1-1.

Wait Wolfe are you seriously claiming that current usage of VAR system is perfect?

Like I said before the inconsistencies, the ridiculous amount of time to make a decision(sometimes up to 5 minutes), a particular thing is given one game and not the next. After every goal there is a check pretty much now, for example yesterday there was a check for 4 out of 5 Man United goals, each one was fine but it took to long to decide. The refinement part is quickly coming to a sensible decision, instead of analysing it for 4 or 5 minutes and giving ridiculously harsh calls.

Out of curiosity what country do you live in? As there's pretty much debate about it on a daily basis in the UK with pundits, managers and players on the TV etc. I assume it's more accepting in your part of the world.
