Philippe Coutinho

One lucky deflection and one easy tap-in goal. The thing with Coutinho is, when he has the ball, everything slows down, very Barca-esque in that regard.

Can he be sold for 40m? 30m?

Can't belive that we payed 150 millions for this fraud.
He can't get minutes in budensliga unless it is low rated team.

Hope for him he will score few goals more so we can sell him to premier league club.

he was really good in Liverpool
it was not a mistake getting him cause everybody was saying he could be a good replacement instead of Iniesta. i believed that too
but i didn't understand why he went so bad like this

we payed so much money for him i hope we can earn 70-80m€ from him
maybe he can play in Tottenham, PSG, Dortmund, Rome, Sevilla, Valencia, Arsenal,
but i am not sure which one of them pay 80m€

I would give him a second chance because we paid big bucks for him. Noone is going to pay 80 million for a Bayern sub. People are dreaming. Either play him or use him as currency in a swap.

I don't really remember how Liverpool used to play with him. Was he a CM in 4-3-3?

He was AMC in 4-2-3-1 though Klopp has also used him in a deeper role for a few months which probably made us believe he could replace Iniesta.

Forget about the transfer fee. We should get rid of his wages especially if we plan to bring other big earners like Lautaro and Neymar (hope not). Get whatever we can even if it's just 60 or 70m or loan him for another season.

Coutinho was actually pretty good that first half season with us, when he could not play in CL, which makes it pretty puzzling how he fell out with both manager and dropped in his performances his first full year.
Just some comparsion stats:
17/18 season - 18 games 8 goals 5 assists, 1303 minutes played, so basically assist or goal every 100 minutes. Thats is top quality level
18/19 season - 34 games 5 goals 2 assists, 2019 minutes played, so assist or goal every 290 minutes and a mental wreck.

Although he is not a regular with Bayern, his stats this season for Bayern are close to what he had with us in first half of year, then again, he has not really played vs top opponents in Bundesliga, so it is a bit flawed.
I think Coutinho is mentally pretty fragile and considering our squad at the moment, he just does not fit as he would be additional emo in locker room. His level is also very inconsistent and i do not see where he would fit in Setiens gameplan (he would still be better than De Jong or Vidal as LW though) as he is probably best as attacking midfielder drifting in from left and as long as we have Messi (who does the same thing from right) we do not really have a need for that position.

I don't know how good you think he were in Liverpool, because in a recent interview Steven Gerard sad that Liverpool started climbing up after Coutinho left the team. That speaks a lot.
