Too slow for the wing, not physical enough for a 9, we don't play with a CAM. So like what does he do tho? Did we buy him coz he was "cheap just to swap Neymar for him?

The Bartomeu board has a galactico policy. The Arda Turan, Coutinho, and Griezmann signings are clear evidence of that.

As much as I like Griezmann as a footballer, I have to agree with Mister Seitan - due to performances it was the correct decision to leave him out the team tonight.
For that last spot in our attacking trident, we need speed, 1 v 1 ability, movement and work-rate.
On merit it should be Fati's or even Perez, Dembele played tonight and he's got speed, dribbling and talent - his work-rate and decision making should still improve.
Antoine should fill in for either Messi or Suarez, the 3 of them together does not work - for now at least - as they hinder each other.

feels like Coutinho all over again. another 100mil+ player who doesn't fit, it was pretty obvious also. unlike Coutinho though, i think Griez will be kicking up a fuss if things havent changed by January.
it does make me wonder though; do players actually pay any attention to the past season and look at the manager they'll be playing under? i cant understand why any attacker would want to join this current Barca side when you know Suarez-Messi starting is mandatory
i can't really fault Griezmanns commitment and effort though, hes given his all on the pitch thus far

If he's honest about his abilities he might have known that he's not a player for the wing, he's not that fast and barely dribles.

I know we did but it didn't impede the inevitable. That's exactly where Griezmann ended up the second Messi and Suarez returned.
