Pique is such a club man.. flying off without the manager he supports permission. what bullshit indeed

The guy takes stupid decisions, was the clown in the group since childhood. But im certain his affection for the club is not just sincere but also strong.

The most logical decision would be to fire him now while the season is sill salvageable. Anyone who thinks we can improve beyond what we’ve seen from Anfield to now is seriously deluded.

If we keep this clown at the helm we will continue to sink lower and lower and worse, the players will start tuning on themselves in the process. The club de amigos will point fingers at the newbies and younger players and vice versa. Total anarchy thanks to this spineless cuck.

By the end of the season Valverde need to go and all veterans too. Need to start a blank page with a new coach and young team with hunger and winner mentality.

These guys have been ridiculed so much in Europe last 4 years, they have lost all hunger and winner mentality. 4-0 Paris, 3-0 Juve (way before Valverde), 3-0 Roma, 4-0 Liverpool. You don’t recover from that mentality.

New young coach and out with all veterans and players who are not good enough.

I think ultimately Liverpool took this teams soul at Anfield and it won't recover from it. It would of been a good opportunity this summer to rebuild as it's been average to utter shite ever since.

The saving grace for Barca domestically is that both Madrid sides are also average, Europe is realistically a write off as we are too poor away from home and it's become a fundamental issue.

Maybe we would have been better off with another manager. I don't think we lost our soul at anfield tho, or that keeping Valverde was such a bad idea. The problem for several years has been.,.that the players dont fit each other, and Valverde isnt that bad a choice to damage-control managememtfailure

Well said. We need action right now. I am concerned about CL and staying top4 in LaLiga, that's how bad we look now..

Hiring mourinho... At worst we would miss out on champions leauge.

Mourinho is 1 billion times the manager that Malmierda ever was, is and ever will be. We are not going to miss out on the Champions League. Are you freaking serious or just a fan of bad jokes?

Despite the worst league start in fucking 25 years (!) after the first 5 rounds, we will at most be respectively 3 and 4 points after Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid if the latter wins tomorrow night. I can see Sevilla winning or drawing at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán so make that 1 or 2 points after RM. No sane person is going to believe that Sevilla let alone Valencia are going to finish with more points than Barça, even if we were to be coached by you or some other random Barçaforum user.

Mourinho is the only manager with a strong enough personality and CV to provoke and lit a fire under the "club de amigos" clan that is running the club. That and being able to communicate with them in Spanish while doing it.

The football can't be worse with Mourinho either. Unlike Malmierda, Mourinho is capable of winning the CL and even if he copied Malmierda's approach he would do it better.

I would take Mourinho for the reminder of the season (short-term solution) even though it is never going to happen, rather than watching the current excuse of a team and manager in action.

As I wrote, we have nothing to lose.

The lot here who want Allegri are basically wanting a slightly (OK, slightly might be the wrong word here as we are talking about Malmierda so let us just say a better) improved version of Malmierda who would struggle to communicate with the team even though he is Italian, as I suspect that most of our seniors are rather thick people, Piqué excluded.

Mourinho (with the right team at his disposal) is actually a very offensive manager compared to the likes of Allegri and Malmierda. Just take a look at his Inter and RM teams before the latter imploded.

Mourinho as a solution for the reminder of the season, in case Malmierda gets fired (very unlikely) soon, would probably be our best bet if you like me, want to see our club de amigos clan provoked.

Hoping for a 2015 January response after the mess with Lucho, is hoping for divine intervention. Not going to happen with this lot. Can only see Mourinho do it. Either he fails and exposes the rotten fundament of our current squad or he succeeds with given us a last ride "made in club de amigos" before the inevitable 2021 clear out.

This team is like stuck in the mud. Three seasons at the helm and he hasn't made our playstyle evolve whatsoever. It's the same slow build up, with no off the ball movement, no runs, no drilled in schemes or plays just reliance on individualities to break the opponent's defence and if there are none oh well tough luck. How hard is it to move the ball quickly, cohesively, to play with risk, with intention to create something dangerous and not just pass it around slowly, standing like cones while the opponent just predicts every single move we make. It's just mind-boggling. This team is as insipid and dull as it gets, make me want to puke.

Which ofc is the right choice, some fill-in would be the end of this season.

The fact that you're still here, defending Valverde after everything. I'm not sure who the greater fool is. Ernesto, or you who keep buying into his bullshit.

After the back to back Champions League humiliations, the players looking like they don't train basic concepts, looking clueless out on the pitch tactically...

Keep sucking his dick though, perhaps he'll notice you one day.

Thank you for saying this. Barcelona used to be the team to watch but now we might be the most boring team out there. It's so freaking boring. We lack any sort of emotion.

I’m in for Mourinho. I mentioned him earlier aswell. Don’t see the point in a coach like Ten Haag or other young exciting coaches with ideas right now as you don’t start projects in September. That can get really really ugly.

Mourinho is as motivated as ever. Squad needs motivation and discipline. If for nothing, then atleast for a decent CL run.

Make Mourinho dream which has haunted him since 2008 true

In the very, very, very unlikely case that mourinho gets selected, there would be potentially an huge up Roar inside the club, from fans and lastly from the old core players.

It has Nothing to do with his manager skill-set, but his while history with Barca.

Also mourinho isnt the coach he has been. He lost his touch years ago, and since Madrid every squad turns against him, not to mention that he almost every time leaves the club in worse state for hus successor than any other coach in footbaæl

I would take Barry, 46, from Coventry, with no managerial experience, but likes football over Eeeeernie at this point.
