Some of you people won't realize how important it is to get him away from Valverde until Frenkie de Jong and Arthur are benched for a midfield of Vidal - Busquets - Rakitic again in a key CL game.
Giving Valverde the possibility to even play Rakitic is like giving a drug addict high quality crystal meth.
I find it a bit hilarious though, how this supposed outstanding player has absolutely no suitors in this transfer market when several teams have been on the look for a good CM. Barca want 50m for him which isn't even a lot in this market, but according to multiple Catalan sources, there have been no offers at all for him.

If he doesn't get sold and he doesn't play as much as he did last season, I better not see him have his entourage leak shit to the Catalan Media as he did during Lucho's final season.

Rakitic will fetch us more money and Busquets is a homer so the club won't sell him. Rakitic has no point here.
Even if Busquets is on the bench or not playing, FdJ and Arthur have more to learn from him based on his past experiences winning so much and playing our style since he started playing for our youth teams than they would do with Rakitic.

LMAO this absolute fraud of a player ONCE AGAIN is doing his stats-padding in absolute meaningless games, and his fan boys are ONCE AGAIN back stronger than ever to keep on the propaganda. FDJ and Arthur are far more dangerous in offense since they can put a teammate in perfect conditions to score, Rakitic can’t. He didn't have a great season, same with Busi. He would put out a good performance every now and then but that's it. It's like saying Luis Suarez had a good season going by his goal stats while completely ignoring the on-pitch product.
The white-knighting when it comes to Rakitic is truly something. It's like some of these guys view him as some sort of underdog while they shit on the popular and probably more effective options.

He's not our best midfielder but selling him to keep Busi as a guaranteed starter would be a disaster.
I would rank our midfielders something like this. Maybe Couts could also do well if given a chance
