I'm not even watching (as I promised I would) but from the comments I see online it looks like it's a new season with same old vices and cowardice...

Hideous football. We looked like a team with such an insane lack of instruction and organization, especially in the first half. No one knew what to do or where to go as part of a unit. We were getting caught out constantly and our players were getting in each others way all the time. Players absolutely don't give a shit, neither does EV, and that's the general culture of this team. Show up, punch in, tippy tap a ball around for a few hours, punch out, go home.

Barca is gonna have a really ugly start to the season I feel, depending on Messi's injury and how much he can bail us out. Valverde is reaching new levels of shit we could never even dream of. It's crazy just how incompetent he is, and just how much Barto and them double down on supporting his nonsense the worse he does.

To make it even worse, his lineups in preseason are beginning to suggest Rakitic/Busquets are not in any danger of losing their spots anytime soon

Hopefully we have a horrible start to the seaso and Shitverde is sacked. There is just no other way.
Glad I canceled my Bein subscription.

You know..im starting to worry that well see Busquetes, Rakitic and Roberto as starting midfield.
And Rafinha beeing ahead of Arthur and De Jong.

Welp lets just get used for another another season of Rakitic, Busquets and most probably Suarez as untouchable gods and slow, static, shit and booring football. Fuck this board and their useless shit coach and fuck the veterans and especially Messi for supporting fraudverde.

We have signed Griezmann and FDJ and Neymar is probably comming... and im not even excited at all. 0. I will probably watch a game every now and then just to see the new signings but i wont be wasting my time watching every game as ive been doing for the past 15+ years as long as fraudverde is the coach.

A bad start to the season is probably what'd be best for us in the long run. Maybe Valverde will get fired by Christmas. Here's to hoping.

Why is he still mixing reserves with starters? He must have an idea of who'll start vs Athletic and adapt the lineups vs Napoli after that.
Play the reserves one game and the starters in the other to build up some cohesion.

Next game we'll probably see something like this:

ter Stegen
Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Alba
Roberto, Frenkie, Aleña
Dembele, Suarez, Griezmann

Arthur, Vidal and Coutinho subbed on.

Valverde will never start with that midfield at San Mamés.
If Frenkie would be a starter Valverde should've tested him with Busi and Raki, who'll both definitely start. So I'm guessing Roberto, Busi and Raki will play the first league game because "they know each other".

Funny seeing how the majority of media favor us for La Liga.

I actually think we will end trophyless this season. It was evident that this piece of shit was finished by the end of last season.

But somehow we still have him here and will pay the consequences.
