Not if we sell Umtiti, Rakitic, Cillessen, Denis, Rafinha and Gomes for more than 150 mil. And to be fair that's probably doable.
If you include Malcom in that it could be over 200 mil.

Rakitic 40-50
Cillessen 15-20
Denis 10

True. But after the season Coutinho had, that would basically mean that this club is ran by Luis Suarez.
And I would much rather keep Umtiti than Coutinho.

Yeah but if we sign De Ligt I doubt Umtiti will stay no to mention we don't know the medical condition of his knee. We'll see...

De Ligt is a RCB. Umtiti is a LCB. If Lenglet gets injured, we are fucked.

Most clubs have only 3 top class CB's so we'll be fine. Real won CL 3 times in a row with only 3 CB's (Ramos, Varane and Pepe or Nacho) and NONE of them was left-footed. Having only one LCB is fine even more if you have 4 CB's ( Pique, Lenglet, De Ligt and Todibo). Also bare in mind that both Puyol and Pique were right-footed and they were a perfect pair. We should worry more about the pace of our CB's that proffered foot.

True. But still, it depends from player to player if they can play both positions. Pique can't. Lenglet can't. So, we are solely relying on De Ligt.
Again, to go back on topic, Coutinho needs to go. Long before Umtiti.

I wish there was some place for him but it's hard to see where he fits next season.
Trying to fit him is like trying to fit a Pastore or a Kaka or Isco in this midfield.
We don't have place for an enganche or #10 in this system.
Coutinho is in the same mould IMO like a Rui Costa. You have to build a team around these guys.
I like him but It's tough. Maybe in the absence of Messi we could play him in a diamond.
That's the only way.
