We just don't have the football iq to understand what he brings to the team and how important he is, obviously...

Well i mean i don't like Valverde too but that just sounds like the typical statements a coach makes when one of his strikers plays bad.

Deciding factor is if the club REALLY thinks it's just some bad luck or if they acknowledge that we have to look for a replacement soon because this might just be Suarez' level from now on.

I know people here want to see Messi false 9 with 2 wingers and i would too, but it's not guaranteed to work. For now the only striker we have is Suarez so it's reasonable he hopes to make this work somehow.

you can see this pathetic form is truly bothering him,i believe he cares and tries to get better but unfortunately his body is not listening anymore. of course there are his dubious basic skills but he was never world beater when it comes to them anyway, before he managed to cover his flaws with his strength and sheer power, since he is loosing that with every new game we get the results we see now

For a coach who refuses to implement a different system, constantly reusing the previous manager's ideas that already proved disastrous, of course chances of it working will be reduced to none, period.

Suarez already proved ineffective for many CL matches. This isn't just an "off-form".

Constantly replacing players is not a sustainable solution as well. I mean, you can get someone to replace Suarez but if the system is fucked, it's gonna yield the exact same result. Coaches need to improvise and develop tactics and players, before constantly seeking replacement. Also, the least the coach could do is to not play Suarez 90 goddamn minutes every match. Not only you would burn his old ass out, this is also restricting opportunities for other players.

Kinda lost hope in that regard so i just hope we at least replace Suarez with someone who can control the ball

We are stuck with him. No chance Valverde benches him. At least lucho had the balls to bench pique when he sucked.

This is so god damn depressing.

We can only hope for a miracle where we replace Valverde soon and somehow manage to offload Suarez and Rakitic in the Summer ..,

I'm not even worried about goals. Suarez seems to have regressed to the point he can't do the most basic things.

I've always been a huge fan of Luis, but like I said last night; Masche, Andres and Xavi all bowed out with grace and dignity. It's all pointing out that we will not get that from Suarez. He's been terrible.

He's got an ego rivalling Cristiano at this point. Guys in serious denial and lashes at Dembele, the referee and whoever gets in his way rather than admitting to himself he's past it and bowing out with grace.
