Valverde pretending it's all about misfiring in front of goal for Suarez is absurd. We all know it's not.
He can't run, he can't defend, he can't control a football, he can't pass a football (save for a wonderful cross or though-ball here and there), I'm talking the simple, basic stuff.
Luis was the world's best 9 for quite some time, at Liverpool and here with us. But, he should ring Masche and learn a thing or two about leaving with a bit of grace. He's below our level now.

I wish it wouldn't be true... But it is unfortunately...
He is a great footballer but right now his body is unable to follow his mind and will.

He is playing like a whitebeard old star 10-20 years after retirement.
Okay but the problem is once again Valverde, unfortunately. Regardless the today result, the team played well and sometimes nothing wants to go in. Okay.
But saying NICE things about Suarez's comical present form is not mere diplomacy. It is insane if at the same time he dares to call off the best player Dembele and not Suarez!

Once, at least once he SHOULD try the Messi-Coutinho-Dembele trio in attack...

Masch leaving last winter when he did probably cost Barca an undefeated regular season, maybe more. Xavi and Iniesta did it much better than Masch, or say Pedro leaving while we had a ban.

Bottom line is Suarez is the best we got until this summer, and can bring a reinforcement--which we must do.

Need to sit him vs Sevilla.

I wish Valverde didn’t insist on letting him play 90 minutes every single game. He needs to hold him accountable for his performances. The guy is old and can’t run like he used to, this is the time in his career were his coach should rest him more. But really doesn’t, if he doesn’t improve soon. This season will be a wash. Our next three games are as brutal as it gets, we could use someone, anyone to score a goal consistently.

In EV's mind what's keeping his job is not team performance and not even trophies, it's Barto and the senior players. So if he start to bench the seniors, he will lose his job.

Ask not what senior players can do for Valverde – ask what Valverde can do for the senior players.

He plays like shit.Everyone says it,but it’s the sad truth. We should try a Dembele-Messi-Coutinho/Malcom attacking line. There is no fucking way we win a CL with Suarez at the starting XI

If he stays another season he will ruin his own legacy at this club. Top player should know when to leave. As Harvey Dent said "you either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain". We are slowly forgetting his great moments at the clubs because he plays like shit right now and Valverde is not doing him any favor by playing him every game.

Sell him to MLS while he still has international goodwill

Good post

It's one thing for a player's passes, shots, or touches to vary a bit from match to match but I don't get how his speed, agility, and coordination can suddenly deteriorate when they were quite good in January. He was looking like a hungover 40 year old playing in thick mud for most of the match today.
