Yeah his shortcomings are beyond any coach/system failure. We have nowhere to play him that aligns with our formation plans. He will never be good enough to be starting LW over Dembele, and he will never be well rounded enough to play as a midfielder and have an impact.
His purchase was a panic decision while we were recycling the squad and system. He was bought to be an Iniesta successor, then played in Neymar's spot, and we've had no clue what to do with him since.
We should sell him and reallocate the money towards other things. Jovic + De Ligt should cost us about 120 million. We can get at least that much if we sell Rakitic and Coutinho. We would end the summer with only the FDJ money as our deficit, and we pay that in installments anyway.

Lmao calling Coutinho useless, he will go soon to play NT games under Tito and he 100% "somehow" won't be useless again and suddenly "somehow" confident. This manager simply KILLS our players confidence, Coutinho looks fucking depressed playing for the best club in the amazing city.

If he keep shitting the bed until the summer we've gotta think about it. Perhaps try to bait him to PSG. I don't see Coutinho returning to England with Liverpool being so good as they are. Would be a massive career failure for him and it will follow him.

This ain't the manager. Only players being pussies expecting to be catered to and patted on the back when they miss a sitter or their flick doesn't work. Coutinho is a good talent, but totally inadaptable. He plays like a celebrity that wants to hog it and feel like the most or the second most important player on the team. Dude needs to wake up and realise where he is.
