He plays that way the whole season.
Except that he is scoring goals suddenly (which is not a bad thing, we agree).
But his play, like a pure footballing play was average in almost all matches this season.
He loses the ball, moves awkward, but then produces 2-3 moments of brilliance.
And that usually masks his average performance before a goal.

This player is still very young to be able to judge, he might have a great career. His biggest problem is being assimilated to Mbappé (nationality,skin colour, price tag etc). Mbappé might be a generational talent while Ousmane might just become a very good player. My friend is a youth coach in France has told me that Mbappé was known to be special ever since he was 6 years old. The only reasons why he signed for Monaco was to make some quick non taxable money for his family who are of modest means but all his surrounding (family, coach, agent and so on) knew he would become a unique talent.

Not true. Today he was especially poor, but his other games are better than this even without the goals. He also plays better in the second half usually and today he was not given that chance.

i can safely say he is almost useless without remorse.. he just there occupying the space where coutinho is supposed to be. one acceptable touch and the next one the ball bouncing from his foot as though playing with those tiny rubber balls. it is not the odd one bad, legit 1 of 2 or 3 touches like that.. him and arturo vidal (to lesser extent). he just plays on impulse and extinct, that s not how it works here with players who are used to systematic ways of play.. alba is just left confused when dembele has the ball because he cant make out what he might do.. coutinho In and immediately you see triangles played in a systematic way which only failed because alba was also bad in his final touch. i dont know how will this pan out but expect no happy ending to this rushed marriage. It was not a marriage made in heaven and the days will cement this.

its not this match.. its just a taboo at this point to speak of it in the forums because of some good scarce moments every now and then.
