This is the new Neymar thread isn't it? There is clearly a divide, I can see it clearly. Barcaform: civil war part 2 electric boogaloo.

Deulofeu was also able to make those deep probing penetrating runs. Passed decently well too. Could also score the odd goal or two, just like Dembele. Look how things turned out for him.

Coutinho has already gel with his teammates. Hope Dembele does so too.

That's the thing about this the highest level of football: you don't have much time to adapt. Coutinho was already world class, so found it significantly easier.

Of course you have time to adapt.

Leroy Sane took a season to adapt before he played at the level he did last season. With the right manager and players put under the right conditions to succeed it's possible to give them an adaptation period to succeed.

It's not like he cannot be given a go to fail and learn against half of the teams we play in the league at home that we beat handily.

Sane's decision making first season at Man City was awful and he often looked lost and didn't know what to do. Then look at how he played last season.

People really underestimate how much coaching can impact a player.

Sane came good. What a turnaround from his first season.

Comparing apples and oranges here. Coutinho is 26 and Dembele is 21. Plus, Dembele had injuries last year. He's adapted very well all things considered, Dembele stats are pretty good in his limited game time.

Dembele actually was very good last year when healthy. The only reason people think he wasn't because he was out 4 months. He scored or assisted like every 95 minutes.

Dembele makes mistakes and people suggested that he could be given chances to make the mistakes in last liga home games and I say: He might make mistakes, but he also makes the difference. We had two important UCL KO stages ties. Against Chelsea, he made the difference and against Roma, Dembele was left out (so only players that have adapted and not make mistakes will be part of a crucial game like this...). We all know how that ended (and of course in the couple of minutes he was given he was very lively and dangerous). I'm not saying that he's a complete product yet and I'm not saying he's fully adapted because he clearly isn't. But I'm saying we must give him all the trust and opportunities and forgive his inconsistent decision making. Not only because it will give benefits in the future, but mostly cause we really need him. Now. In order to overcome the most competitive games. Without him, we will not win the UCL this year.

no he wasn't; it's strange how the Dembouz fanboys call Suarez shit when he scored 31 last season but then use stats to say how Dembele was great even though he only scored 4 goals all season

Are you only going to post toxic shit in here or whine all the time?

You either hate something and go about it all the time or whine about something else. That's like 99% of your posts.

Like cmon. Cheer up you sad dude.

Let's ask ourselves this question: Who'd have more of an IMMEDIATE and direct impact 1-2 years from signing: Dembele at 21 or Mbappe at just 19?

I think we all know the answer to this question. One is already world class (the finished article). The other isn't there quite yet.

Look past Suarez's 30 goals for a minute and look how he plays these days.

Far different compared to his 2014/15-15/16 season. In those seasons even if he didn't score he was still was a menace on the field either by assisting or creating space by disrupting Backlines for the likes of Messi,Neymar etc to score.

These days if he's not scoring he's killing attacks with his dumb decision making with his dumb layups, Passing and falling down every chance he gets. He's a shadow of his former self.
