It's the Champions League Final 2018

Barcelona vs Real Madrid

Deadlocked at 0-0 in the 90th minute

Last minute of stoppage time to be played

"Here's Paulinho away from 2, 3, 4.. Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful.. How good is he? A near supernatural goal from Paulinho. He has wriggled and tiptoed his way to the gates of the Ballon D'or. He is just brilliant, best player in the world bar none."

Thinking for a moment that this isn't some conspiracy but Robert insisting on Paulinho.

Is this really a hill Robert wants to die on? this isn't a cheap gamble signing at all. We are paying 40 million euros on a 29 year old Midfielder who flopped in europe and was shipped off to China and his skill set is pretty much identical to players we already have.

I just don't get it. This is a signing so many people don't want to happen, and it has such a high risk of failing but he still insisted on getting him anyway. Imagine him playing a couple of games and Valverde deciding he's not good enough and he's benched or left out of the squad.

40 million euros down the damn drain and a guy who has no re-sale value.

Robert is a spacegoat, just as Zubizarreta...this smells as Douglas 2.0.

This our worst transfer ever. Shady as fuck. Douglas x 10. Fucking socio's better vote this board out or they can go to hell as well.

Best midfielder around
Unbelievable

He will come at the same price we could've gotten Tolisso for earlier in the summer. Same profile as Paulinho, just 10 times better, 23 years old and doing great for Bayern already. Barto the Perico jerking off while he ruins our club.

At least those were dirt cheap. Not a 80-90m investment for a 29 year old we have zero competition for. These are the type of transfers that severely weaken our ability to compete in the transfer market in the future as we are required to pay massive amounts of money for deadweight wages for years and years. How many midfielders do we have if Paulinho and Coutinho join? 11?

To be fair, when we had Motta and Van Bommel, we won one of our 2 Cls WITHOUT Messi.
People will get offended by this, but before an alien Messi, we were never good enough to win a Cl when we tried to play only with short and technical midfielders.
We failed over and over.
Juve or Psg match over and over for the last 20 years.

I am not saying that Paulinho is the answer.
But Busi-Roberto-Alena surely won't win us Cl trophies against thug's teams.

It just seems that for Cl matches, we needed to buy our version of Casemiro.

I seen already some people trying to justify Paulinho's signing as the new Keita.

Trying to justify 40 million euros because he can be our new Keita?

Who the hell pays 40 million euros just to be an impact sub at best with a high risk of failure.

Donkeys who can push people around can be had for dirt cheap if thats what you are demanding.

Alena? I havent heard anyone claim that he should be a starter ahead of Rakitic, Iniesta, Coutinho or Seri.

Roberto is a class player though.

As there been a team that's worst than us in transfer over the past 3 years, that's competing at the very top, the amount of money we have wasted on trash, better to have paid over the odds for a pogba
