Paulinho

Maybe the Tottenham experience wasn't showing his true talent level. Villas Boas was his manager, he was playing with crap players. Maybe he didn't adapt to Britain.

He was impressive for Brazil in the confederations cup right before that move and I think he even won the Club World Cup with the Brazilian team he played for.

It actually makes sense when I think of it. EU citizenship simply means citizenship in an EU-country. There's no such thing as countryless territory within the EU, so can't be one without the other..
Don't know how I didn't get this at first, guess it's just me having it all by default and I have therefor actually never really given it a thought. :facepalm1:

Guys I just realized, if we sign Paulinho, we can only get either Coutinho or Seri because they are also non-eu players

We would have 3 non-eu players: Paulinho, Marlon, and Suarez ---> Marlon would be replaced by either Coutinho or Seri

Seri wouldn't count as non EU player.

In addition, players from the ACP countries — countries in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific that are signatories to the Cotonou Agreement — are not counted against non-EU quotas due to the Kolpak ruling.
