Total probably:D

I suppose It'd be the latter. The former would hardly be realistic to achieve. He scored 6 goals last year.

I know he's not exactly a goalscorer and Dortmund also knows that. While his goalscoring record would probably improve with Messi creating chances for him 30 goals in a season is still a lot so I also suppose it's total goals. He would probably reach that mark in his 3rd or maybe at the end of 2nd season. So probably pretty easy attainable 20M for Dortmund but still better than just pay them upfront.

Source is @BilelAffelay, dunno if reliable.
The 30 goals would have to be in one season I think.

edit: during the whole contract indeed, not just 1 season. So pretty easily to achive.

Don't know the guy, we'll see if some more known/reliable journalist will give us more informations about that.

I suppose during the whole contract is referred to his entire time at Barca, not just the duration of the first contract he signs? The latter would leave room for some shady loopholing.

I suppose so too, if he would be to renew his contract before scoring 30 goals( although unlikely) it would get shady.

Well, anywho, I think it wouln't be too bad of a deal for either party, I would have upped the goals to 50 tho, he is a forward after all.

You shouldn't. there all just bsing. And hoping they guessed right so afterwards they can say "Told you so".

I see it like this. I'm not angry that Barca want a to buy a player which easily is going to solve a lot of their Problems. What I don't understand is the Sentiment here like it's your fing god given right to buy those Players and the Price you feel is right. I think you're not overpaying with 120 direct + 30 bonuses this late in the window. Do you think Dortmund will have it easy to replace him this late with full pockets either ? I hope he stays. I'd rater get a lot less Money. He's going to perform anyways in a WC season.

I have a simple question.

Let's assume Dembele stays, apologizes and does his best this season for Dortmund in exchange of BVB facilitating his exit next summer to Barcelona(his dream to play here if you look up his old interviews), what will Borussia Dortmund do if Barcelona are only willing to pay max 80m for him next year?

Will Dortmund burn all relations with Dembele by still rejecting any deal or will they accept it?

Next year, Barca won't be able to pay the amount of money the club is willing to offer right now, next year he might not even be an important signing, priority.

The amount of Crocodile tears from Liverpool fans and from the likes of Chris Williams is fucking hilarious.

it seems some people cannot comprehend the idea of a player going on strike or putting in a transfer request without thinking it's some mass conspiracy from us. I mean sure we aren't angels in the slightest and our board are garbage but Why always assume it's us that is behind all this? what if it's the players who are doing most of this on their own volition.

I notice EPL fans in general fucking despise us big time and always come up with shitty conspiracies about us to justify their views.

The funny thing is the EPL clubs are buying shit players for big money and are the ones driving prices up. Along with PSG of course.

The Best solution would be to agree on a sum then. Like If any Club offer xxx amount next season you can go - eventually maybe even a contract Extension with higher wages and and a buyout clause with a fixed sum. The Player couldn't complain then

They probably had a similar verbal agreement for this summer.
But Bvb screwed him.

So, no.
He won't do that.
I wouldn't either.

Clubs, players, managers. They all say one thing and later break their word and look for their own interests.

I'm pretty sure they had an agreement that he could go to barca if they were interested. But not after one season. Never.

Problem is that BVB again might fix a high sum that only PSG would happily pay.

Although yes, at the moment the best thing seem to be to agree a lower fee than this summer as this seem to be getting to crazy levels.

We're desperate now. That's why we're even offering 100m in the first place. Next year, it'll be a completely different situation.

So:
1. you can go to Barca, but ONLY when we decide
2. and if we'll let you go, WE will decide an out of this world fee
3. plus, maybe we will even stop the transfer, and insert random excuses: it's late in August, we have a XX game, a player XX is injured, it was a rainy day yesterday so we are acting like cunts for no reason

Admit it. It is business. They (clubs) all lie. And mostly look only for their own interests.
Borussia/Liverpool don't care what they have promised to a player, they don't care about their once-in-a-lifetime chance.
Everyone cares only about their asses, and about their future income with or without a player.

So, I am giving a green light to Dembele/Coutinho and any player in the world to act like a dick, because 90% of clubs deserve it.
