So apparently this guys is still involved in doing promotional events with the clubs shirt sponsor

Not a sign that he is going to be leaving anytime soon.

Just a smart move by our marketing department. Seeing Arda standing there with elite players like Messi, Neymar and Piqué could make other clubs think that Arda is elite too. :arda:

100% agreed. They're trying to trick some chinese club into buying him!

Farto is a strategic mastermind.:worthy:

Why is he still here? I'm not a religious person by any means but a bit of divine intervention would come handy here.

He got a nice contract.

Won't leave unless he gets similar money elsewhere which is unlikely to happen.

Dont think him getting 85k a week elsewhere is unrealistic at all but it is if he wants to go to any of the teams willing to take him.

In terms of what some very average players are getting it is not a massive contract for many teams to take on.

Think he want to go to teams based in London, Paris, Milano, such places and the top-tier teams too.

Won't get that there. Don't see Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter or AC Milan, PSG paying him that. Out of those clubs, I'm not sure anyone would be interested in him either. He didn't do himself any favours by trying to choke that 70 year old journalist either.

Mendes pls, for all the evil things you have done, do one good thing for change.

Agents got too much power, but Mendes not a bad man to have a working relationship with. The guys in charge of the club or even Laporta and his board were just as bad.

He'll always fetch us a good fee for a client of his. He offered us Bernardo Silva for a less fee than City paid, but we didn't take the chance on it. Prefer him over The Fat Rat Raiola who kept milking us for Ibra deal and talked trash about Barca. Not to forget how he tries to make his players change clubs which is why Hamsik sacked him.

Mendes might be a crook like most agents really, but he's a professional one.

Thats the issue it is him agreeing to go to a club more than the wages I think.

Maybe the journalist thing works in his favour in end as no more intl football.

Yeah, there's no way another team would be willing to pay a transfer fee and smash their own wage structure for this guy. They have to be very stupid to do it. Turkish teams dont have that kind of money, unless they get some outsides sponsor to fix an Arda deal.

They would. Just most likely teams he wont want to go to.

For example I doubt his wages break the structure of any EPL team but he will most likely want CL football.

His wages isn't crazy in today's football, plenty of meh players in the prem are getting that, it's just that no one who he is interested to play for wants him, but almost all the clubs in the epl can pay him.

He's on 8m euros per year. For the quality clubs are getting, they will stay away of course as he would be getting a super star wage when he is far from it. If mediocre Arda get that kind of wage, other players will demand it as well and it ruins their wage structure. And Arda wont take a pay cut.

He is not on 8m and he could go to just about any EPL team who have worse players on more money already or he could be their best player.
