I am just saying that you refuse to believe there is no shady deals involved with Neymar sr. With all the court cases and what not. Forget about illegal stuff, you can stick to innocent until proven guilty part if you want but on a sporting sense also this transfer doesn't make much sense.

If he is some 20 or 21, i wouldn't be this mad. At least there is a chance of improvement, every fan from brazil agrees that he is a good player but no where near good enough for barca.

I refuse to believe that the Douglas deal was corrupt as not enough money involved to make it worthwhile for anyone at the club or elsewhere to take that risk. Also dont believe that the likes of Puyol and Zubi are too stupid to realise or corrupt enough to go along with it.

Absolutely can agree that just about any individual involved in football has potential to be involved in shady deals but to me that is not the case with that transfer as too many people with too much to lose and too little to gain.

He might not even sign, so can hold off on the conspiracy theories.

If I remember correctly we were more interested in Douglas's team mate Rodrigo Caio, who's considered a very talented defender. But he injured his knee and Douglas was apparently our second choice so we went for him.

Who is to say they had much say? for the highlighted part.

Okay i agree that it might be having corruption and illegal stuff happening, it could happen but not sure. What i definitely agree is this transfer has nothing to do with sporting reasons, and it is just pleasing neymar sr and him making some easy bucks. There might be some sign on bonus, agent fee etc., all through legal ways but still doesn't make it right. He was about move to china but suddenly getting ready to move to barca? Are we some retirement club or what?

I sure as hope you are right on that third part.

He is at least as good as bernardo silva
But coutinho is the best

Hold on there cowboy.

He might turn out to be a decent backup, however his salary must be low. Like 1.5-2m max. Mathieu was on 2.5m, and no big sign-on-fee or agent fee for Neymar fucking Senior.

Bringing in a guy on a free transfers and selling Turan for some 25-30m. is good business no matter how you put it.

Pardon me for not really caring a whole lot about your view on an attacking midfielder whom you seem to believe is a rb...

I'll pardon you for your poor comprehension skills, since I never said he was a RB. Just that I suspect he'll end up permabenched in a manner similar to our RBs over the years.

They're apparently struggling to sell Arda since China is ruled out due to their new tax rules, and the guy simply don't want to leave and is on relatively high wages for a player of his age, decline in level and latest controversies...

I think we'll manage to do it in the end.

It also only exists in your mind.

Arda won't be leaving for 25-30m, we'll be lucky if he leaves at all, and this guy coming in when he likely isn't anywhere near Barca quality (Why are you playing in Brazil at 26/27 if you are?) only serves to increase our wage bill with little purpose.

My take on the Douglas deal is that they took a punt on a player from Neymars fathers agency to try and make the Ney transfer deal and payments for scouting etc legit. Just me putting two and two together and could be shit.

Either Zubi and Puyol were stupid or corrupt if they were on the sporting side when Douglas signed. Not sure what you mean by how much say they had. That isnt really relevant.

If we really sell Arda for 25M why not invest in a young talent? Why to increase the roster on below average players? Selling arda for 25M will be a good business but buying this guy is a bad decision. If his salary is very low and Neymar sr didn't milk us that much then it probably won't impact us that much. We can turn a blind eye. Who is going to sign Arda for 25M anyway? Especially after all the recent controversies.
