If we are bring Yerry much sooner than expected this is my scenarios.
-Mathieu is leaving and Mascherano stays, but we decided to send Marlon out on loan, for more experience so Yerry comes in and fills the void left by Mathieu.
-Mathieu and Mascherano both leave, and we promote Marlon and he stays. But we still need another CB but due to other priorities needed in the Squad, we decide Yerry is the cheapest option to bring in as he would only cost 9 Million euros.
The Second scenario is risky, because we would be left with only Pique as the only Veteran in the CB spot and the other three CB will be 24,23 and 22 years old by the end of the year. Umtiti being the most experienced out of the three young CBs.
Going by Robert and the sporting departments change in strategy, I don't think we will fork over the cash for a older CB Like Mathieu and Verm any time soon.

Why not? Now we have Mathieu,Pique,Masch and Umtiti on CB position. Since Mathieu is 100% leaving I can see us signing both of them. Mina will probably come in January 2018 if signed (similar as Gabi Jesus) so Sanchez is also realistic target. Masch also needs to be replaced since he will probably leave soon (this summer of the next).

I think you're forgetting Marlon Santos who has looked promising in his appearances with the first team so far. Don't get me wrong about Mina though, and I hope you're right, and we do bring in both as I think he's got a lot of potential. He reminds me of Jerome Boateng. I just don't think it's likely we'll sign him and Davinson.

Even without thinking about Marlon I think it's impossible we'd sign both Mina and Sanchez. We only have one non-EU spot left and even if one of Neymar/Suarez will get spanish passport this summer (which I haven't heard of anything) it wouldn't be the smartest planning to spent 2 of the 3 non-EU spots on what would be our 3rd and 4th CB choice. For the same reason it's also unlikely we'll keep Marlon next season if we sign Mina/Sanchez.
Also, signing Mina this early in summer would probably mean we aren't really that interested in Coutinho. Of course as said it's possible that Ney/Suarez are close to get spanish citizenship and people in club know that but until we get official confirmation of that it would be risky planning to sign Mina/Sanchez and Coutinho and then at the end not being able to register one of them in time.
That's unless I've overlooked something and Mina has a possibility to get Italian or some other EU country passport before he signs with us.
