Edu Polo, says with the likely hood of us being knocked out of the CL we probably won't get a replacement RB right now.

Why?

Even if we get a substitute for Aleix Vidal that new player still cant be registered for the Champions League.
I think it's still better if we can bring in somebody if we can for the sake of fighting for La Liga.

Coutinho is not gonna be sold for just 60M. Sorry to disappoint you, but your expectations are way way way too far from reality.

ohh really how much??
100m€ or 120m€?????
Liverpool bought coutinho 13m€
we bought suarez 80m€
he will be more expensive than suarez???????
this price won't be 60m€ but not more than 70m€
so i don't think that is far from reality

Appoint Jorge Sampaoli as coach.

Sign a proper RB and move Roberto back to the midfield. Sign Bernardo Silva and a proper CM, Verratti or Dahoud. Seriously consider promoting Aleñá.

Make a decision on Arda, Gomes, Denis and Rafinha.

Denis and Rafinha can be backup wingers here and also potentially contribute in the midfield if Sampaoli employs different systems.

What do we do with Paco? Munir is definitely coming back as I doubt Valencia will use their option to sign him. Do you sell Paco then or keep both him and Munir?

Agree about everything else but this: I'm sorry but where do you see Bernardo Silva play? In Monaco he's playing RW, he won't be playing it here, so what, RCM? i think he's too attacking for that position. And don't get me wrong, he's a great player.

I still think Sampaoli isnt the right option. Not to say he isnt a great manager though. I do want a change in system though and he would provide that.

Keep our players we have now. We have one of the most competitive squads in world football, however we do need a change in system which could prompt a few signings and sales. Keep Paco, he hasnt been good enough this season but I still think hes our answer.

Your logic is astounding. You're not taking into account other factors such as player age, importance to the team, and where Liverpool is right now. If they qualify for CL, then I see Coutinho being around 100m. In addition to the fact that he just signed a new contract and Klopp is their manager instead of Rodgers, I feel like Coutinho might just stay anyways.

100m€ to Coutinho ????
ok i don't need to comment
kevin de bruyne went to Manc City 74m€ (arabian finance they are offering so outrageous prices)
oscar went to China 60m€(they are offering also outrageous prices)

coutinho's market price is 35m€(transfer market but it is not so detirmining) in my opinion we can get Coutinho between 60-75m€

Will Sampaoli even leave Sevilla? He just joined them.

He's not guaranteed he's going to stay there either. Only signed a two year contract when he joined and can buy himself out for 1.5m euros.

He's always wanted to coach Messi and if we contact him then I'm confident he will come. He won't get another chance except for perhaps the Argentine NT after the 2018 WC, but then again AFA are so incompetent they might appoint someone else instead.

He's obviously not worth that much, but if you look at how the market is nowadays players are going for amounts almost three times what they are worth.

Pogba was sold for around 105M and he is the biggest deal in history of football, from a bigger club, greedier agent and was the most hyped player in the past few years while being younger and people considered him better (whether it is true or not)
Coutinho will cost a lot,and I don't want him anyway, but I think he will be closer to 80-85M than 100M

From what I've seen of Bernardo Silva, he can play at any of the three AM positions as well as on the wings due to his great dribbling ability. He also does well off the ball and contributes a lot defensively. I think he could be a perfect player alongside a CM and Busquets, or in a 4-2-3-1 if Messi moves to a more of a CAM position. It opens up a space for a RW. He's a lot like Coutinho that way, except I think he has more of an overall impact on the game than Coutinho does. The key here is to appoint a coach who is adaptable and plays different systems to break up the opposition, which is why I'm such a fan of Sampaoli.

Either way, he's not the priority, a CM and RB is.

I still think Sampaoli isnt the right option. Not to say he isnt a great manager though. I do want a change in system though and he would provide that.

Could always do that, although I think there are players who simply shouldn't be here anymore or fits the system. If Roberto moves back to the midfield when we sign a RB, then Gomes' position at CDM is gone, and he's just not comfortable in a possession dominated system, nor does he have the tenacity off the ball. Not to forget Arda who is on a high wages. He's done well as a backup winger this season, but can we really justify keeping him as a backup on those wages when we have Denis here too? Have to take some decisions like that.

Who do you think would be a better option than Sampaoli? Please don't say Koeman....

About that.

Liverpool bought coutinho 13m€

So? Juventus got Pogba from United FOR FREE, back in 2012. Then sold him for +100M.

What the fuck his buying price, years ago, has to do with it?

we bought suarez 80m€

So? Suarez was older, he was already sick of England and his image there was completely damaged after what he did in the WC.

Taking everything in consideration, you have no basis at all to believe they would sell Coutinho for 60M/70M, being younger, loving England, not planning on moving to Spain and being a role model. This is pure wishful thinking, sorry.

he will be more expensive than suarez???????

Probably.

The same way Pogba was, being not better than Suarez and playing in a "less expensive position". Jesus Christ, even Higuain was more expensive than Suarez, don't know how can you be so surprised by Coutinho following the same pattern (unless something happens out of the blue).

this price won't be 60m€ but not more than 70m€

Sorry, but no... Just look at the way the market is moving, the player profile and the current situation of his club. Of course it is impossible to crave it on a stone, but chances are he is going to cost +100M IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF Liverpool decides to sell him, which I highly doubt.

Coutinho isn't even Liverpool's most important player. Sadio Mane is. Coutinho struggles to influence the game, he has his magical moments. We need someone who can exert more control and more influence on the game than that.
