Croatian analysis for croats here, maybe google translator could do for others?

I have read it this morning.
A good article.

Anyway, tons of neutral media are laughing at us and see 100s of errors in this team.
In this article for example, a journalist also say that Barca needs a new start, fresh beginning, going back to roots, a teamplay and NOT reliance on MSN, a new coach, players who will run (he pointed some fingers at Messi, Iniesta, Neymar in this article etc).

Neutral fans can see easily that this Barca is dead.
Barto will see it also, around 2018 or 2019 roughly...

RM will won XXX trophies till then.

Barça was also dead in 2013 and 2014. Problem now is that this team lost their identity, renounced what made us great, our midfield. And there's one man to blame this on.

I remember a few saying the same under Tata, how it could only get worse and we needed a change. We had a change and it was brillaint, for about 1 season. The same issues we had under Tata are starting to resurface. We can sack Lucho because he's a big part of the problem but the issue still seems to be there, no matter who the coach is. Our core players are starting to age, and no matter how many times we change the managers, that isnt going to be changed.

The problem isn't our aging squad. Messi, Busquets, Umtiti, Pique, Alba, Neymar, etc. are not old. Lucho has a VERY LONG LIST of issues and the aging squad (Which is his own fault, mind you) is not the main one. Unless you want to say our lack of a RB, lack of a midfield, constant use of Gomes, over use of MSN, etc. are all because our squad is old. Lucho could spit in your face and you'd try to explain it away by saying the food he ate recently wasn't tasty enough.

Team needs to be cycled. Champions league is most likely dusted but we can still win the league and copa. Madrid will make a deep run in the champions league leaving them vulnerable in league matches

Stop kidding yourself please. Look at those faces and amount of will in the training:

This team is down as much as it gets. I am affraid even Sevilla and ATM will overtake us in La Liga if Lucho stays until the end of the season.

Flavia, I get you.
But...

Think about it this way:
In 2013 we were also at the end of one cycle, but things were somewhat repairable.
2013, our team had problems, but our core players were:
Messi, best player in the world aged 26
Pique 26
Busi 25
Alba 24
Iniesta 29
Masch 29
Alves 30

Summer of 2017, the same problem, but:
Messi aged 30
Mascherano 33
Pique 30
Suarez 30
Iniesta 33
Busi 29

I will expand my idea.
Imagine that our team faces an end of cycle in 3 different eras.

Imagine a core of team (something like Messi-Xavi-Iniesta)
1. imagine that they face an end of a cycle aged 25, 25, 25
2. imagine that they face an end of a cycle aged 30, 30, 30
3. imagine that they face an end of a cycle aged 35, 35, 35

If a club is at the end of one cycle, when your core players are aged 25, you can survive with a minor overhaul, like a new coach, some new tactical ideas and 3-4 fresh players to shake things up.
If a club is at the end of a cycle with key players aged 30, things are way harder.
Also, if players are aged 35, you are dead, there is no way back.

Also, imagine that our team faced an end of 1st cycle when core players were aged 25 and we "survived" that era with a minor overhaul.
Now, 5 years later, we are in the same problems. This time, you can't apply: but we had the same problems 5 years ago.
Well, yes, we had the SAME problem, but our core players were aged 25 then and they were able to turn things around. When they are aged 30, things are way different.
Also, when players are aged 35, you can't apply: but we did the same 10 years ago. Well, they were aged 25 then, not 35.

So, in 2012 or 2013, the club was in the same situation, we needed a change.
But our core back then was: Messi 25-26, Xavi 31-32, Iniesta 28-29, Pique 25-26, Busi 24-25.

Players are not robots. They deteriorated both physically and mentally since then.
For example, Messi and Iniesta during the last overhaul and this summer, 2012/13 and a summer of 2017 (5 years difference):
These are not the same guys anymore (and now expand the same thing over 10 players who were in their prime back then and who are way, way older today and in 2017/18):

** I am NOT saying that we should sell Messi or Iniesta, of course.
The point is that if our core pulled it off back then, it doesn't have any resemblance with a current era when they are all aged 30 or 33.

I know that, BBZ8800. I think next summer should have an overhaul, but with this board, it will be difficult. Messi and Suarez still have a few years in them. Iniesta needs to be replaced, but so needed Xavi and alves, and they still haven't been. We have the terrible luck of having an incompetent board for such a long time. Still, if they somehow make some good moves in the summer, we can be reborn again.

Good, hope he fucking resigns and Barto goes ahead and sends a plane fo find Bielsa and get him to be our interim manager.

If the plane is too expensive then there is Unzue, Isn't he the guy that holds the Ipad, maybe he knows a thing or two.

Players have lost faith in Lucho and there wont be a comeback.

Kill it before it kills us.

When I watched the Villarreal match the one we drew 1-1 in the second half the team looked like it was trying hard but tactically we were a mess it it felt like we were chasing shadows for most of the match
due to that.

For a man that prioritizes health and fitness a lot where was this yesterday? We got beaten not only on tactics but beaten on the Physical and fitness aspect. they out ran us, they out muscled us and we looked absolutely dead.

Hell it was like this for most of the season the team looked dead on all fronts despite the rotations. or is this all a ploy for "If we don't run and press hard they will get tired! and we will have the advantage in the second half shit!" yeah uh if that's his only strategy on how to deal with teams that press us hard then I'm sorry but it backfired big time yesterday.

We rode our luck on that aspect, we should've lost so many games due to that but got lucky the other team's finishing was complete wank.

About time the media starts the witch hunt. Lucho is stubborn as an ass and has balls for brains. He'll just continue with what to everyone but him is evident. His "tactics" left us without a midfield, and I don't mean a functioning midfield, I mean the actual absence of a midfield. All the players are stretched too thin, Busi has acres of space to cover alone while the CMs might as well be wing backs in his "system". If what he said about changing tactics by altering formation from 433 to 451 is true then I'm sure we can conclude with absolute certainty that this man is delusional and probably on some strong drugs.
