Yeah,after hearing how we are gonna pay for his wages for months getting anything is actually positive.
Man,had Douglas accepted the Cruzeiro deal would have said we have been brilliant with unloading the dead weight

Left to get rid of: Vermaelen and Douglas.
So we've spent 67M net so far. If we also count the rumoured prices of Vietto (22M) and sell Tello for 7M, then we'll spent 82M net or go 22M over our projected 60M transfer budget. If we can sell Vermaelen for around 10M then we'll be around 12M over. I think we can afford that. This money could easily go from next years budget (which will be then around 50M) as I doubt we'll really need to buy big next summer. Maybe RB if Vidal/Roberto won't work out but we're pretty set at other positions. We could possibly also sell Arda, Mathieu and maybe Masche next season and bring in another young CB (or just give a chance to Tarin/Marlon). So there will be money if we need it but overall we did a good job this summer to improve our bench and possibly get some longterm replacements for Masche (Umtiti) and Rakitić/Iniesta (Denis/Gomes), maybe even Suarez (Vietto).
I thought Umtiti came with variables?
We probably won't go a lot over budget but we are only signing backups albeit with re-sale value.
