At least there is a silver lining in all this...The facts are

a) He was not POTT

b) They won without him. And played better

c) Messi will most definitely be pissed when he comes back, like the time Ronaldo said he wants to surpass Messi with bdor.

d) People are now even more convinced he is not best player in the world

BTW Fuck France. I knew it, 3012481238123912 Africans playing in a team. They probably care more about their club then NT.

You're a moron.
They're french first and foremost, what does it matter if they're African? Those africans love their country just the same and are much better than the non-africans playing the same positions as them, HENCE why they're in the team in the first place.

Ban this racist moron

That's racist man.

Sorry didn't mean it to sound like that. I thought when you have alot of players that maybe don't have roots in the country they represent, there may not be enough "heart" to win as opposed to players like Masche or Suarez that tore their assholes or play dirty handball just to win

I would say the same if 80% of French team consisted of 2nd generation Germans or Russians or anyone else.

nationality is something you identify with man. you really botched that one.
Nah its not. Nationality is deeply ingrained in peoples heads and hearts (especially in Europe). Its like family, you cant really pick and choose to love unconditionally. Some French players played and acted like they don't even care...Lloris and Koscielny were absolutely gutted. Mattuidi as well though, so my theory might be a bit iffy.

I'm not a racist. And please stop calling me moron. This has nothing to do with race, I said I would say the same thing if instead of african decedent players there were 2nd or 1st generation German immigrants playing for France.

Most of French players didn't show heart to win it, just the way it is. And no, its not the same if your family line goes hundred years down the line in specific nation (not specifying nation or race here btw), and someone whos parents came there 30 years ago.

I don't know which french players looked like they did not care. Dual identities becomes a problem for some north african players, but even then it doesn't really show on the pitch.

This is just unfuckin'believable. Even Deschamps' baraka didn't work. I gotta say, some portuguese players behaved like total assholes throughout the game.
blaugrana1987 don't double down now, it's a bit lame. You're not a racist, but the sentence you wrote was. Time to let go.

Not everyone is cut out to show that kind of grit. It doesn't mean that they don't love playing for their nation's colors, it's just not in them to play like that.

If the players didnt care they wouldnt have been in the final in the first place.

Griezmann wasn't crying while Matuidi couldn't stop crying up at the stage.

Griezmann not French now?

Thoughts?

I tend to agree. Also, Griezmann demonstrates his propensity to choke on the big occasion once more. Zizou went up a notch in finals while he has been poor in both finals he's been in this year, simply too soon to compare him to Zidane the Great.

This just made me miss watching our boys. I miss football being fun to watch :puke::yawn:
