Yeah thats what he meant.

And yes I think the rule is you just have to be born in the region.

Really? I didn't know that. I thought they have to be ethnically Basque no matter where they were born (for example Laporte who is ethnic Basque but was born in France).

So I didn't think a non-ethnic Basque like him would have been accepted.

Now that I think of it,we have been sitting on top of the table for ages. Anyone got the statistic for how long it is? If we draw/win this we'll still be first even if Barca wins .

See? That's classic Isco, dribbling and losing the ball without knowing when the pass. We don't need a player like him.

They also had Ramalho playing for them, currently on loan. He has a Basque mother though.

No its defintely that if you are born in region you are considered Basque and can play.

Alternatively if you are botn outside region but have Basque parents you can play.

He isnt the first black player to come through anyway. There was a CB a couple of seasons ago that is out on loan.

If you draw and Barca wins, Barca will be 1st, because we have better GD

I Always liked Beñat, think he is a great player who is capable of playing for a much better club. Didnt get why he went to Bilbao from Betis.

Funnily enough they just mentioned his parents ethnicity on sky sports. They also said he was born in Bilbao so it appears you just have to be born in the region or else be ethnically Basque. I guess its better this way as it gives them more players to recruit.
