if you go by stats hazard is better than iniesta

come on man, I want something to look in to.

I've honestly only ever seen Vidal in the CL, not once was he as great as the fan boys make out. He wasn't bad, he just wasn't special. Next season I'm going to watch so much more of him to really get a feel for him.

Ramsey affects games like a Lampard/Gerrard does, that's why I rate him so highly. Yet to be convinced by Vidal, but I'll more than happily watch him so I can learn about him and his style. Just seems like a Hipsters choice.

NOT ONLY THAT BUT YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MENTIONED A STAT (GOALSCORING) SO I HAD TO SHOW YOU THAT YOU WERE WRONG. Ramsey's goalscoring ability isn't the only thing he's better than Vidal at.

*doesn't watch Vidal*

Ramsey > Vidal

Come back when Ramsey has been a key figure for three seasons of a champion team, how long has Ramsey done it for, six months of his whole career?

You're all making it sound like Ramsey is a glorified Steve Sidwell and that Vidal is some technical and creative wizard that can't be judged purely on stats.
If anything, it's Ramsey that's the more creative and intelligent of the two. He's the one that does things that won't show up on some stats.

He hasn't been given a good creative platform to shine in this season (no one at Arsenal has) due to the lack of off the ball runners but this is another part of his game that he would be able to consistently show if he had players making the correct runs;

And he was only really good for the first half or so of the season too, where people were harping on about him being world class. Tsh.

Erm, excuse me but did you watch him since he's returned from injury? Honestly? Movement and intelligence beyond belief. Almost as if he was never out injured.

and did you watch him from February last season?

so owned.

Not quite - I've replied to it, and got no reply. Vidal plays for Juve. The only Elite side in Italy. It's not difficult to gain notability is it?

I use the example of Kuyt whilst in Holland as a good comparison. Looked great there, scoring all sorts of goals.

When he moved to a bigger league with more competition, and every player in every team was at a much higher level, with a drastic amount of intensity added, he didn't do as well.

Whats the reply to that?

He's got the potential, but he hasn't done it long enough to be called world class, that's all it is. He's an absolute gun prospect, within a few years with the right players and him at your centre you guys SHOULD be genuine title contenders.

Good point. I'll take that on board. The only post that has made sense when debating with me. "Ramsey needs to do it for a longer time"

Something I do agree with before we can call him world class.

:coffee: They play completely different roles, you can't compare them by stats

:thumbsup2: I'm making a habit in agreeing to your comments. Another excellent one here, Iniesta is a more of a CM actually, not a classic CAM. He's more like Xavi than people think. So, the stats that matter the most in his case aren't exactly goals and assists, but rather the percentage of succeded passes for example.

The stats tell the story if you read them right. But there are many types of stats, from completed passes, to goals, to assists, to tacklings per game, to turnovers per game, to distance covered etc. etc., and each position is connected to a specific stat or set of stats.
