I do enjoy the ignorance of those who think they learned anything about the person/player/coach that is Pep

come on dawg, pep is my favorite coach ever, also as a player and I would be grateful if he came back to barca. i don't have anything negative to say about the guy but some on here do the opposite of bashing him, like you are and turn him into some type of god, he is still a person.

I just can´t imagine Pep winning all the trophies with Bayern and cementing his place as one of the best coaches in history and then coming to Barca B to train youngsters  wouldn´t be possible, his salary would be too big probably

Might not be Barça. If a club elsewhere truly wants to develop a great technical youth academy, Pep would be in high demand.

According to a Bayern twitter account that had some qoutes from that conference, Pep actually said that his dream is to end his career coaching youngsters.
And he also said that at 26, he already knew that he wants to be a coach.

Just a look at Bayern staff and management shows why Pep choose Bayern. Most of thier former legends are still with the club. Its an amazing instustion.

They have no debt , they only spend what they earn which i think is impressive. They have a few home grown players which mean they follow the style Pep likes.

Also this team isnt perfect. They need perfecting. Most of their star players are old.

Dante - 30
Ribery - 30
Mandzukic - 27
Lahm - 30
Schweinstegier - 30
Robben - 29

this means when these players retire or decrease in quality he will have a very hard time replacing these players. These players
are the base of thier team and unlike Barca they dont have an amazing youth team ( thier youth team lost to City 6-1 in the UEFA Youth League ) so they cant just promote a new Lahm or Ribery like we can. This is something he has
to address which will show just how good he is.

Also he doesn't have a Messi in his team ... no Ribery is not on the same level as Messi. With Messi Pep had someone who could do everything by himself. But now its more of a team thing with everyone the same.

+ Bayern's team isnt even that great. It cant hold a candle to Real Madrid's , PSG and Barca's individual players. He has a very hard job to try n keep winning.

Also its much easier to get to the top but its harder to stay there. Every game Bayern play , everyone except thier fans want them to lose. And everyone plays thier best against you so you have to be on your game all the time. Also Bayern right now are on top of the world , but the question is how long will they stay there for? Barca stayed for 4 years. United for 2 before that and so on. No one stays top forever and its intresting what they do on top. People say its easier because of Jupp but imo its harder.

1. this is Jupp team , he had two seasons to build this. Pep couldnt change this team that much. In his first season at barca he had many changes , but at Bayern becase of thier success , he dared never change to team so soon. Therefore the pressure involved is immense. he simply cannot fail

If you take all this into consideration, this job offer is the most challenging there is for Pep. He left Barca for a challenge and him signing for Bayern is just that.

Bayern have a great balance of youth and experience, star players like Kroos(23), Alaba(21), Thiago(22), Muller(24), Martinez(25), Neuer(27), Boateng(24), Shaqiri(21), Gotze(21), and Badstuber(24) if he can come back to his old form. People forget he was first choice over Boateng for Bayern and Germany before he was injured. Also i would hardly call Mandzukic a star player and if Lewandowski(24) comes that would reinforce probably the weakest area on Bayern' roster. The only position Bayern have no real long term replacement is for Lahm.

As for the Bayern's youth team your terribly wrong, the UEFA Youth League were Bayern's U19s which dont make up Bayern's promising youngsters. Players like LW/CF Julian Green(18) and DM/CM/AM Pierre Hojbjerg(18) who are Bayern's two promising candistes play for the Bayern Munich II. Also if you look at Bayern's U19 team that did play in the Youth League most of them just were promoted from the U17 team. If you want to see how good Bayern's youngsters look check the results of the Bayern Munich II team playing in the Regionaliga.

Bayern may not be able to boast the same quality in youth players as Barca but their are a ton of young German players being produced and most of them with a dream for playing for the biggest club in Germany ;)

Even though RM and Barca have always been able to boast better individual talent to Bayern, it has been Bayern's collective football not individual brilliance that has bested both teams so that reasoning is hardly downside but a testament to the key of Bayern's success. Bayern doesnt rely on a moment of magic from one player when they have numerous players who can all deliver at any moment.

In my opinion and most of Bayern fans i talk to is keeping everyone in this squad happy. One full of so many star players itching for playing time will be a true test to Pep's player management. Ironically Bayern's injuries have allowed Pep to avoid making those tough decisions but once everyone comes back healthy things will get interesting.

Also one interesting thing to take notice is Bayern have rarely been "outplayed" in 2013. The only time you could say Bayern were outplayed was vs BvB in the Super Cup. Most teams end up parking the bus or Bayern has let complacency get to them which is evident from the home games vs Arsenal and Man C.

True, Bayern's youth system is not that great, they basically just suck up all the talent from the other German clubs. ;)

i agree, maybe i was unclear about it but that is exactly what i was trying to intimate, that it would be a career end move or something in between big jobs but not something in place of a big job. that is, not something now or even a couple years from now.
