 at all of you who are talking about exaggeration... this is the fourth time since April that Messi's had this injury. Reality check! It's clear as day that this is no coincidence. How often was he getting injured prior to this? ;)

I might be overanalyzing but I think he twisted something after making that run from the right wing and taking the shot with power at high speed for his goal. Because against PSG he got injured from pretty much the same move (cutting inside from the wing with pace and trying to curl it in with power).

Probably why he doesn't play on the wing anymore. :pep:

I think he tweaked it while sprinting to press the Almeria goalkeeper. He was sprinting full speed, then suddenly started slowing down half way through and bizarrely turned back at walking pace.

Maybe there was no avoiding this injury. But no player should start 6 games in 3 weeks. Barca has had some weak opponents in this stretch, Messi should have had a game off. The mental illness he suffers on the bench must be borne. Be brave, Tata.

Who are you to tell anyone to stop doing ANY thing? Mind your own business.
dude take a chill pill man, that's a joke... There was a funny uproar a year ago when Kevin Prince Baoteng's girl friend claimed her boy was injured all the time coz of the amount of sex they used to have. I am sure viper meant his post to reflect on that

He was a winger in pep's first two seasons, And didn't get injured.
The problem isn't with the movement and motion itself, But for some reason he's now become more susceptible to a tear.

WIll have to see how his injury progresses but it would be ideal for him to be recovered around the Osasuna game so he can get some match fitness against them and Milan for the clasico against Madrid.

Very worrying times indeed though, this injury seems to be persistent, lets hope this setback is his last for a while. Would be absolutely heartbroken if this was a recurring theme not just throughout the season but throughout the rest of his career. He loves football too much.
