You're right but Ronaldinho was shit when Henry joined and Messi was nowhere near his current level
Well not talking about 2007-2008 season particularly, talking generally as players. But saying that this is our best group of forwards ever is too steep, especially considering of how we depended on Messi. Alexis or Pedro didn't have good seasons either and won't reach the level that those player somewhen had, saying that they will be this season after one game is too optimistic, and even more saying that this is our best attack ever.

It has the potential to become the best attack for barca, everyone can still improve and having many years left under their careers. It can be possible, it all depends on neymar and messi getting to know each other. Many thought barca attack can be best with Ibra and villa case also, but did not stay like that for long time with ibra not fitting in line up and villa getting injured. The fact that neymar is young gives a little hope.

Best group we ever had? We once had Ronaldinho Eto'o Henry Messi in the team and you call this the best we ever had?

The time you are referring to is that one year, when ronaldinho was pretty crap, over weight, lazy and was Planned to be transferred out ?

Now surely those are big names, But i still hold my stance based on the skill, form and the potential contribution to the team. This current group is better than that one. Messi today > messi in 2007.

Neymar = Eto and that time. with much more potential, which he is expected to unleash this season.

I am so damn sure that alexis and pedro combined are better than declining henry of that era.

That's the point, you are comparing Pedro and Alexis with players on their bad seasons. Overal as players they will never ever be better than Henry. Our best attack should be a lethal combination of all aspects. And the ones that were complete for me was 2008-2009 season with Henry- Eto'o - Messi. Not calling a group of which Messi always does the most of things, im pretty sure we will improve this seasons with the wingers involvement in the game. But saying that this may turn our best group of attack is just too much. As are you comparisons, Eto'o was a brilliant player for us and you compare him to Neymar who hasn't completed a full season and you assuming just because of his potential. I'm not saying that i believe he'll be bad but it's not a fair comparison yet.

You said ''group'', i based my opinion on saying that we exceptional players in the squad, not how they performed that season, exceptional players who may had a bad season and never unleased their potential in 2007-2008 season. But that doesn't make them worse players than Pedro and Alexis. Even if Pedro and Alexis get good seasons they will never be the players that Ronaldinho Henry or Eto'o were, there isn't a fair comparison for this too.
